An abandoned warehouse on Liverpool Road, Eccles, has been seized for supplying counterfeit goods. Four men across Salford were arrested 23rd January in conjunction with providing these counterfeit goods to tradesmen across the UK, under the misconception they were genuine products.
The alleged offenders have been under close surveillance for months and finally arrested after a police raid on their homes on the 23rd December 2011, just 2 days before Christmas. It is believed that many of their goods were unknowingly sold as fakes, and we urge any witnesses to come forward immediately. We believe that many people have purchased these goods for Christmas presents and some electrical items are unsafe for use.
